Tourist potentials of Moscow and the Karachay-Cherkess Republic were presented during this event. Experts talked about the development of tourist flows, usage of modern technologies, personalization of tourist products and services, and readiness of travel infrastructure for a good supply.
Among the participants of the meeting were representatives of ANO Moscow Project Office for Tourism and Hospitality Development and the Ministry of Tourism, Resorts and Youth Policy of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic. Together with experts of the travel business community they discussed new types of tourism interesting for regions, ideas for new products, events and directions, and opportunities for cooperation and promotion of joint projects.
Besides, experts from ANO told the audience about the innovative educational and tourism project “City of Discoveries”. Also, the participants discussed the possibility of launching an educational product for children from Moscow and other regions in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic.
The Ministry of the Republic organized an informational tour for the community from Moscow aimed at informing them on the touristic potential of the region. The delegates from Moscow familiarized themselves with the infrastructure of round-the-year resorts Arkhyz and Dombai and the tourist facility Medovyye Vodopady (Honey Waterfalls).
On October 10 and 11, 2019, the Karachay-Cherkess Republic hosted Days of Moscow, which included a set of business and cultural events aimed at exchange of experiences and strengthening the cooperation between the capital and the region.
