“We continue to develop tourist services affordable and relevant for various categories of guests of our city. The new free travel guides to Moscow contain all necessary information for tourists to built a route across the city, to find attractions, festivals and events, or places for family recreation. We are sure that our production will help tourists to make their visits to our capital even more interesting and special. Besides, these travel guides are compact and handy on the trip,” says Ekaterina Pronicheva, the Chairman of the Moscow City Tourism Committee.
The travel guides are already available in some Moscow hotels, including those in the historical center of the city. Also, tourists can find the guides in Zaryadye Park, at the VDNH, in the center of oceanography and marine biology “Moskvarium”, on the observation deck “Panorama 360”, in GUM, in the Museum of Moscow, in the Jewish Museum & Tolerance Center, in ticket offices of the Moskva River cable car and Flotilla “Radisson Royal”, in the visitor center of the Central Exurban Passenger Company, at the Yaroslavsky railway station square, and in other points of tourist attraction. Soon the new city guides will be available for free in Moscow museums, galleries, parks, and other public spaces.
The guide “Moscow: what to see” presents popular museums, monuments, parks, observation decks, art spaces, and other points of attraction. This guide contains a map of the historical center of Moscow with the most interesting places to visit.
The brochure “Moscow for children” informs tourists on interesting theaters, museums, and educational locations with programs for children. It presents a selection of cafes and restaurants with menus for kids, as well as playgrounds worth visiting for families. A separate section is devoted to the Moscow Zoo.
The travel guide “Moscow: events and culture” describes in detail the main annual festivals, exhibitions, holidays, and other cultural, sporting, and food events. Particularly, it contains full information on Moscow Seasons, the annual cycle of popular street festivals.
Besides, all brochures contain phone numbers of emergency services and useful information on how to get to airports, to use car and bike sharing services, to take a river trip, or where to see the city skyline.
The travel guides are designed in several colors depending on their contents: “Moscow: what to see” is
red, “Moscow for children” is
light-green, and “Moscow: events and culture” is
blue.
